COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
2006: Featured artist in November and December at Brookside Elementary School in Lake Forest Park Washington, as part of a program created by the Art Docents of that school to introduce students to the style, motivation, and technique of various artists. Students of all grades painted large, colorful animals in the "Mary Anne Nagy" style.

2006: My images "Pigs Peace" and "Pink Pastures" serve as background art on the websites for Pigs Peace Sanctuary and their wonderful Seattle store Sidecar for Pigs Peace. My Pigs Peace image also serves as cover art for a new documentary DVD about the sanctuary by Mark Ring.

2005: My work is being used as logo and promotional art for the Canadian Goose Program created by PAWS in coordination with the Humane Society of the United States and Seattle Parks & Recreation (www.paws.org/outreach/campaigns/goose_program.php)

2003-2005: Art coordinator/curator for "Artists for Animals" shows benefiting the Northwest Animal Rights Network. The shows featured the work of artists from Washington as well as various other states, and Canada.

1998 - 2001: Art Specialist with homeless youth, New Horizons Ministries, Seattle, WA

2001: Art with Refugee Women, Seattle, WA

1992-1996: Community Outreach Worker, White Street Arts Center, Champaign, IL. I worked to make arts classes available to at-risk youth.

1993: Weekly art for children at the Women in Transition Center, a shelter for homeless women, Champaign, IL.
